On September the 10th, Apple announced that they had sold it’s millionth iPhone, just 74 days after the presentation on the June 29.Analysts had recently predicted the iPhone would reach the million sold mark by September the 30th.

Just for comparison if we look at the iPod sales, they need nearly two years to hit the million mark. Also it is expected that iPhone will reach the 10 million sales by the end of the next year.
