Nokia takes microUSB route

Finally, Nokia has turned its ear towards consumer feedback by introducing microUSB ports into their upcoming phones that will handle power, data, and audio via a single socket instead of the separate connection stance that it adopts now. The first cellphone to benefit from this move would be the 6500 Classic. This move will greatly reduce the number of cables you bring along on your travels, especially when you’re using your 3G cellphone as a modem on your notebook. Better late than never, I guess.
