In 2008 notebooks will be equipped with 4GB memory
In following year leading manufacturers notebook companies Dell, Hewlett-Packard and Toshiba will establish in a mainstream-configuration of the products 4 GB operative memory. Today in devices of similar category it is established 1, less often 2 GB the RAM. The given step is caused by the future reduction in price of DRAM-modules.

As of today 1 GB of memory there are $16.2 modules on 2 GB in the first quarter 2008 only 6 % from the sum a mainstream-notebooks which cost $1000 will cost just $60. Earlier the price of memory made about 10 % of the price of a laptop.
