Lubix of Korea has just announced the Lubix PH1 necklace-style Bluetooth headset that supports Bluetooth 2.0+ EDR. Internally, you get CSR’s Bluecore 5 Multimedia (BC5MM) Bluetooth chipset that claims to perform better than existing Bluetooth headsets, offering superior sound quality and a longer battery life in addition to noise supression and echo cancellation.

Do you prefer using a necklace-style Bluetooth headset compared to one that you hinge over your ear? I personally prefer the latter since it feels less cluttered, but to each his/her own. No word on pricing, but it ought to hit retail stores at the end of August.
