Samsung announced new LCD monitors line with the ‘53 Series’. This line is between desktop and TV stand, and high 8,000:1 contrast ratio. Response is 2ms for gray-to-gray, and they support HDCP encryption.

First model is Samsung 953B, 19 inch wide monitor. This 53′ series don’t have adaptive size algorithm, witch should offer them to recognize 4:3 input and avoid stretching and meke the monitors more friendly with no-native resolution. It has high glossy black bezel.
