Palm has just launched the Treo 500v in Europe, and this smartphone will be a Vodafone exclusive. As with the highly capable Treo 750v, this will be a Windows Mobile 6.0-powered smartphone and will be marketed as a high-end business handphone. Features include a generous screen size that displays all your information in a brilliant and crisp manner, support for online sites such as eBay and Google Maps, a 2 megapixel camera, audio and video support, and Bluetooth connectivity for handsfree conversations. No word on pricing at this point in time, although you can bet your bottom dollar (or Sterling pound) that the Treo 500v will be able to pick this up for virtually nothing with a 12-month Vodafone contract.
