The iPhone shines in terms of user interface, but hardware-wise, it stumbles along.

The LG U990 looks a little like the iPhone, although it surely boasts superior hardware specifications such as a 5 megapixel pixel with Schneider Kreuznach optics for great looking candid shots, a 120fps video camera, 3G HSDPA connectivity, up to 170MB of internal memory, an integrated music player, and a lovely 240 x 400 touchscreen display.

The LG U990 is set to hit the UK sometime this fall, and could make its way to the US next year. Either way, there is no word on pricing at this point in time but you can bet your bottom dollar that it won’t be cheap!
